2 Corinthians 2:14

14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
This is the Promise Word for this month, October 2011. The Lord spoke SO direct to me today at church. I have not been able to pray all thru last week. I thought that the reason was that, last Sunday, all were being so full of anointing during worship, but as usual I dint get to experience any of it. Felt so cheated. And the Word for last week was that we must proclaim His name among the people near us. I was so upset, thinking how on earth I m supposed to proclaim if He would not even fill me with His anointing.
But today, during sermon, pastor was speaking about how the Lord leads us ALWAYS in triumph. Even when our soul is downcast, He leads us in triumph. That was WOW news for my dead and depressed spirit :) Hallelujah!
Point 1: Jesus triumphed over death, the penalty of sin in our life. We can inherit that victory, by having faith in His blood.
Point 2: We must overcome or triumph over some things by ourselves, on our own, by God's grace. (To him who overcomes)
a) 1 John 2:13: I write to you, young men,
Because you have overcome the wicked one.
The wicked one, or the evil one first tries to wreck ur personal relationship with Jesus, by bringing in trials and temptations, trying to stop u from praying or spending time with the Lord. U must overcome this attack, by God's grace.
b) 1 John 4:3,4:
3 and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
If Satan fails in his attempt to disrupt ur walk with Jesus, his next aim is ur doctrine. He brings in false doctrines and tries to distract u. If u are rooted and grounded in the Word of God, u can overcome this attack.
c) Romans 12:21 - Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
If Satan is not able to shake your confidence in God's Word, he prompts other people (to whom u have done no wrong), to work against u. He makes them do bad things to u, so that u'll think of evil against them & ultimately it ruins ur relationship with Jesus. But, u overcome that evil with good. Pray for the people who did wrong to u. Pray for their blessing. The Lord will speak in their hearts, thru a dream & help them realise that they have hurt u and done bad to u. - This was the amazingly truth that God revealed to me today. All praises to His holy name!
Now I am delivered from this constant nagging i felt in my heart all of last week. Now I understand tat i gave room for satan in my life, I allowed him to make me think evil towards my fellow beings. That ultimately ruined my walk with Jesus. I totally could not pray all these days, cos of the hurt and frustration and bitterness I developed in my heart toward my friends who hurt me in the past 2 weeks.
Jesus rules! :) :) :)
The sermon goes on.. but I have just briefly mentioned that part of the sermon that I felt in my heart, as a direct message from my loving Heavenly Father :) Praises to His name :)!!!
