Romans 15:12,13

Romans, from The holy Bible, Revised Standard version: "12: and further Isaiah says, 'The root of Jesse shall come, he who rises to rule the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles hope.'
13: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

I really feel like praising the God of Israel , who is the Most High God, the Holy of Holies.. He chose the people of Israel to be His children. He chose Abraham. But I am amazed and grateful that He chose even me, a non-israelite by birth, to become His child. I am glad that though I am a gentile, when I believe in Him, I too can be saved. Praise be to His Mighty name!

I would like to elaborate on these two verses, the first part of the 12th verse says that the Root of Jesse shall come - now that is Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world, the Son of God, who is the Way , the Truth and the Life...
the second part says, "He who rises to rule the Gentiles"... gentiles are non - jews.. so , Jesus is the Ruler of ME! thats so nice.. He is wise and all - powerful and when He rules over me, I know that i will never be lost or get confused or worried - thank U Jesus for being my Ruler!
the third part - "in him shall the Gentiles hope", yes, I shall hope in Him. Lets see what hope means , according to the dictionnary, "to place trust; rely; to look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence."... I ask myself , 'how many times have i looked forward to Jesus with confidence?'...mmmm... not many times, especially, during bad times, most of us, tend to loose that hope in Him, dont we?? Let me give a nice suggestion... the Bible says that 'in Him shall the Gentiles hope'.. so why dont we hope in Him? Why dont we rely on Him? why dont we trust Him absolutely? I have a little desire in my heart now... but it is practiacally impossible.. however, i am gona hope in this Jesus Christ, who is the Lord of my life. And I am sure He will do it for me, if it is His will.

The next verse says so - "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." - The God of Hope - this is the One we are serving! He gives us Hope. And He fills us with joy and peace, but, I believe that He gives us these 3, when we believe... and when we do believe, the Holy Spirit of God gives us power to abound (increase) in hope... So, I think that we must take the first attempt to hope & then believe, after which God Himself, will strengthen us & help us to hope in Him more and more..

Lets praise this God of Israel, who loves and cares for us, gentiles.. He is great and awesome! He is alive today! All glory to His name... Here is one of my fav verses :
-"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?" Romans 8:32 (NAS) ... isnt that good news? God gave Himself for us, to die for OUR sins.. He died that we can live.. And if HE was willing to lay down His life for us, expressing MAXIMUM love, what is that which He wont do for us? I believe He will do anythign and everything for us, His children, provided we believe and trust and rely on Him completely & when our petition is in accordance with His will, He will surely do that thing (whatever it is) for us. GOD LOVES U .. yes, U.. :D
