Isaiah 26:3,4

3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

4Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

This was the verse that God Almighty gave me this morning. Actually I have been going thru a very depressing situation.... and I was really worried as I woke up this morning, how things were gonna turn out. But praise Jesus who was faithful as always! HE has been true to His Word.

The third verse says that He will keep the one who's mind is stayed on Him. And by His strength, I tried my hardest to see God in everything that happened today and trust that HE knows what HE is upto & u know what?? HE kept me in peace, in perfect peace and this was witnessed by the people around me. Today I had my practical exam and I wasn't sure of a few experiments... the other students were also in the same boat. None of us were confident. Though I wasn't sure of my experiment, I was sure of one thing and that was the assurance that Jesus Christ is always with me. All I thought of, before entering the lab, was the almighty power of the Lord I serve. I was literally singing to myself, as i was waiting for my turn to enter the room. All the other students, were tensed and one girl remarked "look at her!! How cool she is! Phew! No one can be like that..". I praise God, coz her statement assured me again, that I was trusting in the strength of Jesus. But, I got an experiment, which was not sure of. And doubts crept in. However, my prayer before I chose my question, was "Lord, give me the experiment U think is necessary for me". So the Holy Spirit encouraged me to trust in the Lord, the same thing He reminded me in the morning, from the 26th chapter of Isaiah. I couldn't have done that experiment by myself. I can stand boldly and declare anywhere & before anybody that I did my experiment successfully ONLY BECAUSE JESUS WAS WITH ME & He was faithful in His promise. All glory to His Holy name alone! :)

And as the 4th verse explains the reason why we got to trust in the Lord was also perfectly true in my life, especially today. Coz the Word of God says, in The Lord Jehovah, is EVERLASTING strength. Yeah, I am a witness for that. He lives and in Him is strength that is eternal. This strength lasts forever and it is not less one day and more the other day. The strength that HE gives us, is just soooooooooooo amazing and I can say I have experienced that. Hallelujah! And all that He asks of us, is TRUST. And once we learn who HE is, it really is not hard to trust Him. U just know that HE is there for u, no matter what. And HE is incredibly wise and strong and once u realize that, actually, there is practically no difficulty in trusting His strength and love. He keeps us in perfect peace and words can never really express that peace. One has to experience it. And I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo grateful HE has given me this grace to learn to trust Him, out of all the billions of people alive today. All glory to His matchless name! And I encourage each and every one of my readers to try trusting in this Super Awesome Jehovah. I am sure ur mind will also be at perfect peace...

And I mentioned about my sorrowful state this morning, remember? If not, go back and read the start of this post. ... Praise be to the Lord who lives forever! He has helped me to come out of it and HE has answered my prayer in the wisest and best way ever! Jesus is so great and I really wish, all of u, will also taste this Cool God! He is so faithful to His Word. If HE says something, HE always, I mean, always, each and every single time, keeps His Word. And that's why HE is so amazing!

Here is one song I love... lets bless His name together..
I just keep trusting my Lord as I walk along
I just keep trusting my Lord and He gave a song
Tho the storm clouds darken the sky o'er heavenly trail
I just keep trusting my Lord He will never fail

He's a faithful Friend Such a faithful Friend
I can count on Him to the very end
Tho the storm clouds darken the sky o'er heav'nly trail
I just keep trusting my Lord He will never fail.

I just came across this song today and I am really moved... Here are the lyrics and a very good video.

Hold Fast

To everyone who's hurting
To those who've had enough
To all the undeserving
That should cover all of us
Please do not let go
I promise there is hope

Hold fast
Help is on the way
Hold fast
He's come to save the day
What I've learned in my life
One thing greater than my strife
Is His grasp
So hold fast

Will this season ever pass?
Can we stop this ride?
Will we see the sun at last?
Or could this be our lot in life?
Please do not let go
I promise you there's hope

Hold fast
Help is on the way
Hold fast
He's come to save the day
What I've learned in my life
One thing greater than my strife
Is Your grasp
So hold fast

You may think you're all alone
And there's no way that anyone could know
What you're going through
But if you only hear one thing
Just understand that we are all the same
Searching for the truth
The truth of what we're soon to face
Unless someone comes to take our place
Is there anyone?
All we want is to be free
Free from our captivity, Lord
Here He comes

Hold fast
Help is on the way
Hold fast
He's come to save the day
What I've learned in my life
One thing greater than my strife
Is Your grasp
So hold fast

So folks, all I am saying is this Jesus, is someone who is worthy of all our trust. PtL!

Ecclesiastes 3:12, 13

12 I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. 13 That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God.

What a lovely verse! Just reading it makes me feel warm in my heart and there is a smile on my lips.

before I elaborate on what I understood from this verse, I would like to remind myself and my readers that these words were uttered by the great and wise King Solomon, under the Holy Spirit's inspiration.

He says there is nothing better than to be happy. I think this is a very simply fact, but it is something that I always tend to forget, atleast in the recent past. I mean, I have been thinking of things that hardly matter and they have been making me feel really low. If I had given ear to this Word of God, I know I wouldn't have wasted so much time feeling sad. Now I understand that God wants me to be happy & that is the best I can ever ask - being happy. Yes, I am happy now, by God's strength I am happy now. I know that when HE is there for me, I really don't have to worry how I am gonna prepare for my exams and all those things that keep worrying me. Jesus is alive and that is all I need to know. He is with me and I have every reason to be happy.

When we are happy, we tend to spread that happiness to others. Don't u think so too? This verse also says that there is nothing better than being happy & doing good. Doing good ... mmm.. I am sure that when we feel sad, we don't really feel like doing good. But just imagine, u were the happiest person ever... don't u think u will be smiling always and cheerful and going around sharing and helping and doing everything positive. I can assure u (according to my imagination), that I will always be looking out for opportunities to do good IF I was the happiest person alive. And I think that, that will be the best life ever. Why don't we all live that BEST life God has in store for us? I am sure that if we learn to be happy in Him at all times, we would always do good and so our life will be the best.

And the second verse says that it is God's gift to reward us. I mean, we must work hard and toil, but it is GOd's gift to reward us. So we must never think tat it is our own effort that has borne fruit... always always always the credit must go to HIM and HIM only. And according to the verse, it is God's gift (that HE gives us), the satisfaction that comes from hard work. Well I am a testimony for that now. U see, this evening I had to learn lots of physics and maths.. And I really didn't have any courage to start with it. IT was so much and so hard. But I prayed. And I studied. By God's amazing grace, I completed it and I felt so satisfied and glad. Well I believe that God gifted me with satisfaction. I toiled, with His strength & He blessed me with satisfaction and I can say for sure that it is a great feeling.

Our Lord is not someone who makes us toil and then never rewards us. This verse clearly tells me that HE rewards me and HE rewards me with satisfaction & I feel good now, really good. Praise God!

Philippians 4:9

9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Well, today, was my last day at sunday school. As i was reading the Bible this morning, I asked the Lord to give me one verse to hold on. And He gave me this verse. This Word encourages me to continue to practise what i have been learning so far in sunday school. It says, 'learned' - yeah, I have learned a lot from variuos people in church. God has opened my mind's eye & has given me the grace to learn these years. Then it says 'received' - yea, I have received instructions, I have received corrections, warnings, promises, etc.. in this place.. Then 'heard' - oh yes, I hav heard my teachers here, who have spoken Words of Truth to me. Afterwhich, the verse says 'seen' - I have seen some demonstrations in class, i have seen the joy in my teacher's lives, I have seen them living for God. Now, I got to put all these to practice. I got to live a life of testimony, a life which is filled with the love of Christ, a life, that brings people to the Good Shepherd. I have learnt about faith, now is the time for me to exercise my faith. I will live for Jesus. I will shine for Him.

I love this song, that we sing often, at school. I wanna sing it again, meaning EVERY word of it.. here it goes... sing it along with me ..!!

Jesus wants me for a sunbeam,
To shine for Him each day;
In every way try to please Him,
At home, at school, at play.

Refrain

A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
Jesus wants me for a sunbeam;
A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
I’ll be a sunbeam for Him.

Jesus wants me to be loving,
And kind to all I see;
Showing how pleasant and happy
His little one can be.

Refrain

I will ask Jesus to help me
To keep my heart from sin,
Ever reflecting His goodness,
And always shine for Him.

Refrain

I’ll be a sunbeam for Jesus;
I can if I but try;
Serving Him moment by moment,
Then live with Him on high.

Refrain

Well time has flown, and here am I, completing my years at Sunday School. But now comes the real test, the test to apply the Wonderful Truth in my life. So here I comeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... Lord help me, give me Thine grace. Hallelujah! :)

Romans 15:12,13

Romans, from The holy Bible, Revised Standard version: "12: and further Isaiah says, 'The root of Jesse shall come, he who rises to rule the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles hope.'
13: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

I really feel like praising the God of Israel , who is the Most High God, the Holy of Holies.. He chose the people of Israel to be His children. He chose Abraham. But I am amazed and grateful that He chose even me, a non-israelite by birth, to become His child. I am glad that though I am a gentile, when I believe in Him, I too can be saved. Praise be to His Mighty name!

I would like to elaborate on these two verses, the first part of the 12th verse says that the Root of Jesse shall come - now that is Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world, the Son of God, who is the Way , the Truth and the Life...
the second part says, "He who rises to rule the Gentiles"... gentiles are non - jews.. so , Jesus is the Ruler of ME! thats so nice.. He is wise and all - powerful and when He rules over me, I know that i will never be lost or get confused or worried - thank U Jesus for being my Ruler!
the third part - "in him shall the Gentiles hope", yes, I shall hope in Him. Lets see what hope means , according to the dictionnary, "to place trust; rely; to look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence."... I ask myself , 'how many times have i looked forward to Jesus with confidence?'...mmmm... not many times, especially, during bad times, most of us, tend to loose that hope in Him, dont we?? Let me give a nice suggestion... the Bible says that 'in Him shall the Gentiles hope'.. so why dont we hope in Him? Why dont we rely on Him? why dont we trust Him absolutely? I have a little desire in my heart now... but it is practiacally impossible.. however, i am gona hope in this Jesus Christ, who is the Lord of my life. And I am sure He will do it for me, if it is His will.

The next verse says so - "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." - The God of Hope - this is the One we are serving! He gives us Hope. And He fills us with joy and peace, but, I believe that He gives us these 3, when we believe... and when we do believe, the Holy Spirit of God gives us power to abound (increase) in hope... So, I think that we must take the first attempt to hope & then believe, after which God Himself, will strengthen us & help us to hope in Him more and more..

Lets praise this God of Israel, who loves and cares for us, gentiles.. He is great and awesome! He is alive today! All glory to His name... Here is one of my fav verses :
-"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?" Romans 8:32 (NAS) ... isnt that good news? God gave Himself for us, to die for OUR sins.. He died that we can live.. And if HE was willing to lay down His life for us, expressing MAXIMUM love, what is that which He wont do for us? I believe He will do anythign and everything for us, His children, provided we believe and trust and rely on Him completely & when our petition is in accordance with His will, He will surely do that thing (whatever it is) for us. GOD LOVES U .. yes, U.. :D

I wanna say this along with the Psalmist (taken from Psalm 18, verses 28 to 32)
28: Yea, thou dost light my lamp; the LORD my God lightens my darkness.
29: Yea, by thee I can crush a troop; and by my God I can leap over a wall.
30: This God -- his way is perfect; the promise of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.
31: For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? --

Jeremiah 33:3

3: Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things which you have not known.

as u all probably know, my results are coming out tomorrow... i was praying and reading the Bible tonight, when God gave me this verse... He says 'call to me'... and guess what i did?! i just called Him! And i found it so amazing that HE answered!!!!!! that is soooo true! I was alone in my room and praying... and i just called "Jesus, I call u, because Your word says that i must call U... so i call U Jesus... please answer me according to Ur Word.." and it was so amazing the way He answered me! Praise be to GoD! He gave me peace and removed the fear and anxiety in my heart... HE really answered me!

And the verse further says that HE will tell me gr8 and hidden things which i have not known... and yeah as per the WOrd of God, i still duno what those 'things' are .. but u know what? I have faith in Jesus Christ , that HE will show me gr8 things and HE will do something nice in my life for the glory of His name.

I prayed that the Lord's will be done in my life, regarding my results..so now i am confident that what ever i get, it is frm the Maker of this Universe and HE obviously knows what He is doing.. Now this is one answer i got from calling Him... HE gave me understanding to understand that my life is in His hands and HE has planned my future even before the foundations of this world was laid!

Read on what is given in the book of Psalms...
psalm 139:16: Thy eyes beheld my unformed substance; in thy book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

God has a book and He has written all about my days and everything is so planned... so why must I worry, when i have such an awesome Heavenly Father who has planned everything and who has got everything under HIS mighty control!

All glory to the Lord who answered me when i called!

1st Chronicles 5:20

20 And they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them, for they cried out to God in the battle. He heeded their prayer, because they put their trust in Him. (new King James Version)

This was the verse that God gave me today... I was reading 1st chronicles and i was so bored when i saw that the first few chapters had nothing but names & genealogies, but the Lord asked me not to consider any part of the Word of God, a waste of time... so i continued reading and i read 5 chapters today. This verse is found in the last chapter that i read today, but this verse really spoke to me. I didnt meditate much as I should have, but then, lemme share wat i understood from it and how i might apply it in my life.

The first thing that captures my attention is that, "they cried out to God in the battle". The people must have really pleaded the Lord to help them & that is exactly what i must also do, i think. I must not hesitate to plead and cry to God for help.

And the next part that drew my attention was, "He heeded their prayer". The online dictionary gives the meaning of the verb 'heed' as follows - to give careful attention to. Now thats so amazing, isnt it? The Great and Awesome God of Israel pays careful attention to us, if only we cry out to Him. Wow! thats something interesting!! I am reminded of this song 'sing for joy', which goes like this - "if we call to Him, He will answer us".. something of that sort. It is really nice and comforting to know that GOD himself gives ear to our cry, but I believe there is one condition... and that is the third part of this verse...

"because they put their trust in Him"... Now, we see that God heeded their cry, just because they put their trust in Him. When we completely trust in the Lord and confess that He is our all in all, then, just depend on Him... He is always ready to heed us & our cry... I guess Proverbs 3:5 and 6 says this same thing..
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct[a] your paths.

When we call out to our Living King of Kings , in complete trust in His might and grace, HE WILL heed us, or in other words, HE WILL pay attention to us and will by no means cast us away. He is such a faithful God. Hallelujah!!
